Facility Safety Officer

Responsibilities

To take daily safety rounds of the building and to log the weak and safety prone areas of the building and close the gaps appropriately.
To find out any additional safety measures required to enhancement of safety in the building as per the latest Standards.
Smooth functioning of engineering department.
To keep firefighting equipment Functional.
To train all staff on firefighting, Electrical and other safety measures as and when required.
To conduct mock drills as per Institute protocols.
Ensure compliance with norms issued by Govt. agencies concerned with pollution, noise monitoring and other licenses.
Ensure adherence to NABH norms and standards related to maintenance department and Fire Safety.
Ensure compliance to hospital infection control committee instructions in controlling infection.
To plan and implement patient and facility safety best practices in general and also with respect to disaster management perspective.

B.Tech – Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
Fire Safety Certification.
5-7 years of experience in Hospital Engineering / Fire Safety Services.
Willingness to follow legal rules and guidelines and firefighting standards at all times.
Good interpersonal skills
Dedicated and compassionate
A practical mind and problem-solving ability.
Computer literacy
Very good communication skills.
