Academic Awards and Distinctions
Dr. M.C. Misra is celebrated for his contributions to trauma care and minimally invasive surgery. Awarded the Commonwealth Medical Fellowship in 1988, he went on to receive the Dr. B.C. Roy National Award in 1996 for pioneering minimally invasive surgery in India. His esteemed recognitions include Fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, and the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He also serves as an advisor to the Ministry of Health for AIIMS Nagpur and was honored with the IMA Eminent Medical Teacher Award in 2016.
