Academic Awards and Distinctions

Dr. Anita Sabherwal Anand has been recognized for her remarkable contributions to obstetrics and gynecology. She was honored with the I.D. Grover Award for Best Resident Doctor for Patient Care in 1999-2000. Dr. Anand was a speaker at the National Consultation on “Rising Rates of Cesarean: A Cause for Concern,” organized by UNICEF and CESS in 2016. She received the “Safe Motherhood Champion” certificate from the IMA in July 2021, the DMA award in October 2022, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s “Appreciation Award” in August 2023.
